Far too many people see what is reported , take in the influence of mass media and the are mesmerized by slogans or information that is repeated. When I was young I was told to question everything but your parents rules. Not that they were always correct , but the following of them taught respect and adherence to rules that were created by genuine caring. But when I reached adulthood I could then do as I though was right by my own right. It is not disrespectful to question the reason for things and unwise to follow guidelines not understood fully. Our great nation was formed to pull us away from a society where decisions were made for us and we just paid and lived blindly by someone elses rule. But we have allowed government to grow into far too large of an animal that only gives us the illusion that things are under control and those decisions are being made by our representatives. We have in a sense become cattle. We must start realizing that the television and those on it aren't correct just because you hear something 100 times repeated. That my friends is called programming.
